Maria is a certified member of the Lyon & Healy/Salvi Technicians Guild. From October 2013 to October 2014, she was employed by Lyon & Healy Harps in Chicago, IL as an apprentice harp technician. Lever harps and pedal harps both require maintenance to continue to be in good condition and produce their best sound. Regulation prolongs the lifespan of a harp and keeps it a quality instrument for performance.
